DAY ONE: Zagreb – NP Paklenica – Skradin (Croatia)

Departure from Zagreb at 8 AM towards to National Park Paklenica. With its two canyon valleys, Big and Small Paklenica, this is the most beautiful part of mountain massive Velebit which has cliffs up to 400 m.

We will spend a few hours hiking, after the hiking tour, we will have a traditional lunch. Back in the valley and continue to drive towards Skradin where we will be accommodated in a hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY TWO: Skradin – NP Krka – Makarska (Croatia)

Breakfast. Departure from Skaradin at 8 AM. We will visit National Park Krka. Hiking tour 3h long. Lunch.

In the afternoon we are going toward to Makarska, where we will arrive around 4 PM. Accommodation in hotel. Free time for individual sightseeing, a beach, rest. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY THREE: Makarska – Natural Park Biokovo (Croatia)

Breakfast. Departure with a minibus at 8 AM toward mountain chalet on the top Vošac (1.472 m). After short photo break on this beautiful viewpoint, we will continue to hike to the highest peak of the mountain Biokovo, St.Jure (1.762 m). We will pass this trail for 3-4 h with ascending about 300 m. Lunch package.

Returning to Makarska in evening hours. Dinner. Free time. Overnight.

DAY FOUR: Mostar – Sarajevo  (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Package and breakfast, leaving Makarska at 9 AM. We are going to visit Mostar, the town settled in a beautiful valley between high mountains with River Neretva which flows through the town’s center. The symbol of the town is Old Bridge which was built during Ottomans Empire in XVI century. Sightseeing and break.

Arriving in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the afternoon, accommodation in a hotel and then sightseeing.

Sarajevo, the city that throughout its history has been an intersection of civilizations, the city in which they are merged and separated cultures and religions. The rich historical and cultural heritage, leisurely lifestyle of its inhabitants are a constant lure for lovers of oriental culture, nostalgic and hedonists.

In sightseeing tour, we will see Sarajevo’s bridges on Miljacka River, Baščaršija, Beg’s Moscow… In the evening hours free time for individual activities. We recommend visiting one of food stores where is being prepared traditional meal “ćevapi” – a grilled dish of minced meat. Overnight.

People in Bosnia love to chat, they like to drink coffee and how coffee is valuable for them, testify names of coffee depending on the occasion in which they drink it.

Sarajevo

DAY FIVE: Sarajevo – Žabljak – National Park Durmitor (Montenegro)

Breakfast. Departure from hotel in Sarajevo. We are going toward Žabljak and National Park Durmitor, where we will arrive in the afternoon hours. Accommodation and walking tour.

Durmitor is one of the most beautiful mountains in Balkans with its relief, intersected by deep canyons and valleys that rise to the huge mountain peaks, 48 of them with altitudes over 2000 m.

The greatest ornaments of Durmitor are glacial lakes formed in the work of glaciers during the Ice Age. They are known as “mountain eyes” and at over 1,500 meters above sea level, there are 18 glacial lakes with a bust and cold water. The biggest and most beautiful is Black Lake. It got that name because of the glare of high evergreen forest that surrounds it. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY SIX: Žabljak – National Park Durmitor (Montenegro)

Breakfast. Whole day stay in the National Park. Transfer by minibus to the saddle Sedlo (1.907 m) and Dobri Do (1.750 m), where we will form two hiking groups:

  • I group – difficult tour, the ascent from Sedlo (1.907 m) to Bobotov Kuk (2.523 m), which is the highest peak of Mt. Durmitor. Descending at the same way (length about 14 km, ascent and descent about 1800 m, duration of the hiking tour about 10h)
  • II group – middle-difficult tour, the ascent from the village Virak to Savin Kuk (Kulina 2.313 m) – length about 6 km, ascent and descent about 1600 m, duration of the hiking tour about 8h.

Lunch package in nature. Returning to a hotel in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY SEVEN: Žabljak – rafting on Lim River – Zlatar (Serbia)

Packing and breakfast. Leaving Žabljak at 8 AM. Short photo break at the bridge Đurđevića Tara, where you can see beautiful viewpoint on Tara canyon.

Arriving at monastery Kumanica close to Montenegro border where we will prepare for the rafting tour on Lim River. We will pass the most beautiful part of Lim valley. Rafting from the monastery Kumanica to Brodarevo through Kumanica’s Gorge (25 km, lasting from 2 to 4 hours depending on water level).

After the rafting tour, we are going toward Mt. Zlatar, one-hour transportation. Accommodation in private apartments. Late lunch. Overnight.

DAY EIGHT: Uvac Canyon – Mt. Zlatibor (Serbia)

Breakfast. Leaving off the object and going toward Uvac Canyon. Boat and hiking tour in this special nature reserve known by its meanders and griffon vulture’s habitat. Uvac Lake, bird watching, visiting Ledena pećina (Icy cave), viewpoint Molitva (Prayer).  After the tour lunch in the restaurant at Uvac Lake.

Departure to Mt.Zlatibor (Golden Pine) where we are arriving in the evening hours. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY NINE: Drvengrad – Sargan Eight – National Park Tara (Serbia)

Breakfast. Free time for walking, departure from  Zlatibor at 12 PM. Transportation around 45 minutes by minibus. Visiting of Ethno village Drvengrad at Mokra Gora. Lunch. Riding the train „Nostalgija“ with Šargan eight – narrow rail. From Mokra Gora to station Šargan Vitasi we pass through 22 tunnels, over five bridges, we climb over 300 meters, on a total distance of 15.440 meters.

In the afternoon we are going to National Park Tara. Accommodation in private apartments. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY TEN: National Park Tara (Serbia)

Breakfast. We are going to the adventure where we will pass small canyon with its length of 1 km and then by boat we will drive to the dam on Perucac Lake. Lunch in some restaurant on the lake.

Duration: 5h, trekking 7 km, canyoning 1 km, boat driving 8 km

In the evening returning to apartments on Mt. Tara. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY ELEVEN: National Park Tara – Belgrade (Serbia)

Breakfast. Hiking tour around 5h, (12 km length and 400 m ascend): Predov Krst – viewpoint Bilješka stena (1225 m) with a wonderful view on lake Perućac, Drina River, Bajina Bašta.

Lunch. In the afternoon departure, arriving in Belgrade in the evening. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY TWELVE: Belgrade (Serbia) – Zagreb (Croatia)

Breakfast. Leaving a hotel. Sightseeing walking tour around 3h in the city center. Free time for individual activities. Departure from Belgrade to Zagreb at 3 PM, where we will arrive in the evening.

Additional notes:

  • The tour activities (rafting, hiking, mountaineering, canyoning) are moderate, provided with necessary equipment and with a guidance of licensed instructors. They are being performed on the own responsibility of participants.
  • Equipment: For hiking, it is necessary to have hiking shoes. We recommend as well hiking poles for Biokovo and Durmitor tours; for rafting tour please bring clothes that dry up quickly and don’t soak too much water. Lim rafting does not require previous rowing experience. During the slope every boat includes a licensed rafting skipper that will control the boat and take care of safety; rafting is performed with rubber unsinkable boats specially designed for wild waters. The boat capacity is 10-12 persons. Before the start, the skipper holds a short course on rafting and it is important that the participants honor the instructions they receive from skippers.
  • Accommodation: 3* hotels or private apartments I categories in double or triple rooms. Single usage on request. Accommodation in Zlatar includes wellness facilities.
