Troglav is a mountain near Kraljevo, nestled between the valleys of the Lopatnica and Ibar rivers. Its name originates from ancient Slavic mythology and is associated with the deity Troglav, the guardian of the sky, earth, and underworld. This very symbol of three worlds, three powers, and three perspectives perfectly fits the character of the mountain, which stretches across three peaks.

The trail we follow connects the most beautiful parts of the Troglav ridge and offers wide views of the surrounding mountains — Stolovi and Čemerno — as well as the town of Kraljevo in the valley below. The terrain is diverse: about 70% of the route goes along the ridge, alternating between forested sections and open mountain slopes. For most of the trail, we walk through mixed forest with plenty of conifers, while towards the end we descend through deciduous areas.

The Lopatnica River, known for its clear springs and small waterfalls, adds to the experience of this region — in spring and summer, swimming in it is a true refreshment, while in autumn and winter it brings wonderful tranquility and mountain freshness.
