Suvobor is a mountain that belongs to the Valjevo group of mountains together with Povlen and Maljen. It is only 866 m high. Together with Rajec, it forms a unique entity intersected by the Kolubara and Zapadna Morava tributaries. The mountain itself is built of periodate rocks and is rich in numerous springs, and below its peaks are the springs of Čemernica and Dičina.

The mountain is overgrown with deciduous forest, and much of the surface is under pastures and meadows. In places, young oak forests and coniferous forests alternate. Suvobor is a mountain that is visited because of its extremely beautiful nature and viewpoints, as well as the river courses that the whole area is rich in. It is often visited by lovers of medicinal herbs and mushrooms because of the extremely clean air and unpolluted nature.

On this walking tour, we will pass through the very heart of Suvobor, along less frequented paths, next to streams and gorges. We will go through a beautiful conifer landscape to the peak of Vijuljak, the village of Polom and the ravine of Ravna Reka. We end the trail at Rajac - a region of exceptional features that old travel writers called "heaven on earth".
