Location
Jelica is a mountain from the Dinaric group of mountains south of Čačak and stretches for 30 km. It continues to the mountain Ovčar, and its highest peak is Crna stena at 929 m. Among the peaks, Gradina, Stjenik, Vetrinja, Neboš stand out for their beauty, and from each of them there is an incredible view of the Čačak basin and Dragačevo.
The northern part of the mountain is extremely wooded and is crossed by numerous streams and rivers. According to legend, the mountain was named after the girl Jelica, who, wanting to escape from Turkish enslavement, jumped from the ruins of the old city of Gradina, which dates back to the reign of Emperor Justinian.
On this alpinism and hiking tour, you will discover the hidden corners of the Jelica mountain. Various attractions alternate on the trail, such as the Stjenik stone arch (Okno), which will delight you with its beauty and spectacular view. Then the cave of St. John and the Kamin cave, where you will have the opportunity to try the alpinist technique of descending a vertical rock with a rope. This challenge point gives you a chance to test your skills and courage. Our experienced instructors will be with you during the descent, providing you with safety and support.

Additional notes:
- Equipment for the alpinism challenge and hiking on Jelica: Deep hiking shoes with a Vibram sole, backpack, layered wardrobe, adapted to the weather conditions, we recommend hiking poles, bring enough water and some food (snacks, sandwiches, fruit).
- Information about the alpinism part of the trail:
- The length of the vertical rock, which is used to descend using the alpinism technique with the help of a rope in the Kamin pit, is about 50 m.
- Previous alpinism experience is not necessary.
- Information about a hiking trail:
- Length: 7,5 km
- Total ascend/descend: about 520 m
- Category: moderate, you will hike along dirt and forest roads, partly rocky sections, and along the gravel road, where caution is necessary when moving.
- Duration of the whole tour: about 5 to 6 hours with breaks
- Solid physical fitness is required for this tour. Not recommended for people who are afraid of heights.
- A minimum of 10 registrants is required for the Alpinism challenge tour on Jelica.
- Transport: own, it is also possible to organize transport, the price of which depends on the number of interested persons and whether the transport is by car, van or minibus.
- In case of insufficient number of registered passengers or unfavorable weather conditions, the deadline for notification of the postponement or cancellation of the tour by the organizers is 2 days before departure.

Trip cancellations by passengers:
- In case of cancellation of the trip by the passenger, 5 or more days before the tour date, the Agency retains the amount of 20% of the reservation costs.
- In case the traveler cancels the trip less than 5 days before the trip, the agency reserves the right to the entire amount. In case of replacement by another passenger who is found either by the passenger himself or by the Agency, 90% of the paid amount is returned to the passenger.
- In case of illness of the passenger and cancellation up to 3 days before the tour, the paid money can be returned or the amount can be transferred for another tour organized by the Agency, and the traveler is obliged to send medical documentation about the illness in writing. In case of illness of the traveler and cancellation less than 3 days before the tour, in addition to sending medical documentation about the illness, the traveler is obliged to compensate the Agency for the incurred costs (transportation and travel organization costs), and part of the money can be refunded.
The organizer of the tour is the travel agency Explore Balkans doo. With this program is valid Rulebook on conducting tours by Explore Balkans doo.
According to Article 79 of the Law on Tourism, protection is not provided for one-day tours in terms of travel guarantees.

Belgrade - Čačak - Jelica
- Journey to Jelica mountain near Čačak.
- Arrival at the starting point of the hiking tour on Jelica at 9:00 am. Meeting and getting to know the instructors.

Alpinism and hiking tour on Jelica
- Alpinist equipment distribution, where each participant receives an alpinist belt and a helmet. To Kamin pit you will go by a forest road with a constant ascent over a length of about 2 km.
- A short break and preparation for the alpinism part of the tour. With the help of the instructor who will provide you, each participant descends the vertical wall with the help of a rope, through the Kamin pit, over a length of about 50 m.
- After all the participants have descended, the continuation of the hiking trail along the forest road to Stjenik stone arch (Okno) by which the Jelica mountain became recognizable. Caution is required during the short ascent to Okno, as well as during the descent. The ascent is made easier by the installed cable. A break at Stjenik stone arch, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the phenomenal view.
- After that, we continue to St. Jovan's cave, and then there is a gentle ascent to the lookout point at a length of about 1.5 km.
- We descend through the forest path to the starting point from where we started the tour.
- The duration of the tour is about 5 to 6 hours with breaks, with about 520 m of total ascent and descent. The trail belongs to the moderate category and is technically demanding. Solid physical condition and caution are required when climbing to the Stjenik stone arch (Okno). No previous experience is required for the alpinism part of the tour. Not recommended for people who are afraid of heights.
- After the end of the tour, lunch can be arranged in a nearby farmhouse or nearby restaurant.
- Return to Belgrade in the evening around 8 pm.
