Avala is a Šumadija mountain and one of the symbols of Belgrade. With the highest peak of 511 m, dense forests of deciduous trees, it is an ideal place to escape to nature. About 20 km away from Belgrade is one of the favorite picnic spots of citizens of Belgrade.

Avala is a protected natural asset with about 600 plant species. In addition to medicinal plant species, some plants are natural rarities, such as zanovet, golden and zelenika. It is well wooded with wild trees, while part of it is under a planted pine forest.

On this pre-New Year's promotional and humanitarian hiking tour, we will follow a circular hiking path from the mountain lodge "Čarapićev Brest" to the monument the Uknown Here and source of Sakinac. The hiking trail leads through preserved forests of oak, beech, cherry, ash, and many other species. You will enjoy the clean air, the smell, and the sounds of nature.

We will end the meeting in the mountain lodge, where we will relax and remember the great moments in 2024. All proceeds from the tour will go to a humanitarian organization SOS Children's Villages Serbia.

• The price of the tour is promotional and has a humanitarian character. The entire amount of the payment for the tour is paid to the humanitarian organization SOS Children's Villages Serbia, whose programs are aimed at strengthening families at risk, economic independence of young people from vulnerable groups, and providing assistance in emergency situations to the local population.

• Equipment for the Avala tour in winter: Deep hiking boots with a vibrating sole or deep shoes/boots for snow, backpack, layered wardrobe, warm for winter conditions (winter jacket, hat, leggings, gloves), we recommend trekking poles, bring enough water and some food (snacks, sandwiches, fruit).
