Gvozdac Rock is a karst mountain in western Serbia that belongs to the Dinaric range, that is, the Povlen-Maljen mountain massif. This striking mountain area offers breathtaking views and a diverse landscape that attracts nature lovers and hikers alike. The river Dubrašnica springs at the foot of the mountain. The Gvozdac Rocks are named after the village of Gvozdac on the Drina highway. The word "gvozdac" is a derivative of the Old Slavic word gvozd, which means a dense thicket or thicket of leafy wood, mostly oak.

The view from the mountain extends to Bosnia and the Veliki Stolac peak in the Zvijezda massif, as well as the Tara massif with the highest peak, Zborište.
