- Equipment for the Homolje Mountains-Ježevac tour: Deep hiking boots with a vibram sole or deep sports shoes with stronger sole, backpack, layered wardrobe, warm for winter conditions (winter jacket, hat, leggings, gloves), we recommend trekking poles, bring enough water and some food (snacks, sandwiches, fruit). For those who go swimming in the thermal pools, it is necessary to bring a bathing suit, towel and slippers.

- Own transportation: in case you come by your own transport, the price of the tour is 2000 dinars (with Explore Serbia membership cards) or 3000 dinars (for those who do not have a membership card).
- In case of insufficient number of registered passengers or unfavorable weather conditions, the deadline for notification of postponement or cancellation of the tour is 2 days before departure.
Attractions
Gronjak Monastery
The monastery was built in XIV century. It is located next to the rocky cliffs of Mt. Jazevec. and where flows fast river Mlava. The monastery is the endowment of Prince Lazar. Medieval buildings are preserved: the main monastery church dedicated to Vavedenje and the anchoress in the cave, dedicated to St. Nicholas.
Homolje Mountains
The Homolje mountains belong to the Carpathian-Balkan group of mountains. They are built mostly of slate and limestone. They are located between the Zviška valley in the north and the Žagubica valley in the south, as well as between the Mlavska valley in the west and the source parts of Gornji Pek in the east. The average height is about 900 meters, and the highest peak is Oman at 962 meters. The mountains are rich in dense forest and many river springs. The lower parts of the Homolje mountains are overgrown with oak forests, in the middle parts there are oak and beech forests, while in the highest parts there are pastures and meadows, and on them katuns and bacije, ancient cattle-breeding habitats, where flocks of sheep graze, from whose milk it is made Homolje cheese.
In the administrative sense, Homolje almost completely belongs to the municipality of Zagubica, which borders the municipalities of Petrovac, Despotovac, Bor, Majdanpek and Kucevo.

Hiking tour to Ježevac peak and to the Gornjak Monastery
- Hiking tour from Ždrelo, along a beautiful ridge path to the top of Ježevac at 675 m.
- The trail leads it partly through the beech forest, then goes through the rocky part to the very top, whose appearance, due to the carved rocks, resembles the back of a hedgehog.
- The descent and arrival at the end point on the banks of the Mlava and the Gornjak monastery follows.
- Visiting the monastery from the XIV century that is located next to the rocky cliffs of Mt. Ježevac, under which the fast and clear Mlava flows. It is the endowment of the Serbian prince Lazar.
- Information about a hiking trail: The trail is about 10 km long, lasting about 5 hours with breaks. The trail belongs to the medium-light category.
Spa Ždrelo-Mlava thermal resort
- After the hike, going to relax and swim in the Ždrelo spa for about 2 hours. Spa Ždrelo-Mlava thermal resort, is the only wellness center in Serbia that works all year round. It consists of an aqua park, where it is possible to swim in the winter and summer months in warm and thermal waters with a temperature of 30ºC to 40ºC, which springs 200 m below the ground and has healing properties. In addition to outdoor and indoor pools, the spa has a sauna, steam bath, salt room, tropical rain and other facilities. Note: for a group ticket at the price of 600 dinars, it is necessary to have a minimum of 10 interested parties. In case of a smaller number of interested people, the price of the ticket is 1200 dinars.
- Those who do not want to use the wellness services can spend time in a nearby restaurant and try some of the Homolje specialties: sheep's and cow's cheese, Homolje lamb, kačamak, trout.
- Return to Belgrade in the evening, no later than 9 p.m.
