The Katschberg region is between Carinthia and the Salzburg Lungau, surrounded by the beautiful Austrian Alpine landscape.
High in the mountains at 1750 m, in the middle of untouched nature, Advent magic awaits you, far from kitsch and commercialism - the Katschberg Advent Trail. This is an experience of a special kind where you will hike from one mountain hut to another through a winter snowy environment. With Alpine horn players' music and countless lanterns along the path, you will indulge in a pre-Christmas warm spell. Tea and mulled wine stations are there for respite and warming, and gingerbread and pancakes for refreshment.
On the second day of our tour, Tarvisio awaits us. It is a charming town in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region surrounded by the stunning Julian Alps and known for its numerous hiking trails. We will go on a moderately demanding hiking trail, ideal for winter weather.
This two-day trip offers a mix of holiday magic and outdoor adventure, with a touch of Italian charm in Tarvisio. You will enjoy the holiday spirit and the natural beauty of the Alps!
