Rajska hollow rock is one of the lesser-known natural monuments in Serbia. It is a true hidden treasure located in eastern Serbia, on the east side of Deli Jovan, on the river Zamna. The tunnel cave and overgrowth in the Zamna Canyon are protected as a natural monument. They are classified in the first category of protected areas of exceptional international and national importance. Paradise overgrowth has been placed under protection due to the preservation of specific forest vegetation, including tertiary and endemic species, as well as extremely diverse fauna.

Just a few kilometers away, the canyon of the Vratna River is another natural wonder worth exploring. The canyon is known for its stone gates and unusual whirlpools, which create unique stone bridges - overgrowths. On its course of about twenty kilometers, the river Vratna passes through three stone arches or gates: Suva prerast, Velika prerast, and Mala prerast. These stone bridges are protected because of their specific forest vegetation and fauna diversity.

If you like adventures in untouched nature, a hiking tour through the Vratna Canyon is something you should not miss. The tour includes a visit to Zamna Canyon and Rajska Prerast, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque landscapes. These experiences will allow you to connect with nature uniquely and discover the hidden wonders of Eastern Serbia.

Additional notes:

• Equipment for the Zamna canyon tour, Vratna hollow rocks: Deep hiking shoes or sports sneakers with a stronger sole, backpack, and layered clothing, adapted to the weather conditions, we recommend poles, bring enough water and some food (snacks, sandwiches, fruit). In one part through the Zamna River canyon, the river wades up to the knees several times and it is necessary to bring spare shoes. To pass through the river bed, shoes or sneakers are used in which you walk because stones are stepped on through the river bed. Footwear such as flip flops, and water sandals, for water sports is not recommended!
• Information about a hiking trail:
  • Length: 10 km
  • Total ascend/descend: oko 300 m
  • Category: easy, you will hike along dirt and forest roads along the river
  • Duration: about 5-6 hours with breaks
• A minimum of 18 registrants is required for the realization of the Zamna Canyon, Vratna hollow rocks tour.
• Price is for members of "Explore Serbia". You can find membership information here. For those who do not have a membership card, the price is 5600 dinars.
• Own transportation: in case you come with your own transport, the price of the Zamna Canyon, Vratna Canyon tour is 3200 dinars (with Explore Serbia membership card) or 4200 dinars (for those who do not have a membership card).
• Accident insurance: in order for this type of insurance to be active, you need to send us your personal number (JMBG) when registering.
• In case of insufficient number of registered passengers or unfavorable weather conditions, the deadline for notification of the postponement or cancellation of the tour by the organizers is 2 days before departure.

• Trip cancellations by passengers: 

  • In case of cancellation of the trip by the passenger, 5 or more days before the tour date, the Agency retains the amount of 20% of the reservation costs.
  • In case the traveler cancels the trip less than 5 days before the trip, the agency reserves the right to the entire amount. In case of replacement by another passenger who is found either by the passenger himself or by the Agency, 90% of the paid amount is returned to the passenger.
  • In case of illness of the passenger and cancellation up to 3 days before the tour, the paid money can be returned or the amount can be transferred for another tour organized by the Agency, and the traveler is obliged to send medical documentation about the illness in writing. In case of illness of the traveler and cancellation less than 3 days before the tour, in addition to sending medical documentation about the illness, the traveler is obliged to compensate the Agency for the incurred costs (transportation and travel organization costs), and part of the money can be refunded.

According to Article 79 of the Law on Tourism, protection is not provided for one-day tours in terms of travel guarantees.
