Fruška gora, a former island in the Pannonian Sea, is a beautiful mountain 539 meters high, which dominates the Pannonian plain. With its 75-kilometer-long ridge and lush forests, Fruška gora is a real gem of nature.
Our hiking tour takes you through Bukovac, a beautiful village on the slopes of Fruška Gora. The circular path we will follow passes by lavender fields, where we will take a photo break and visit the valuable producer of this timeless flower.
On the way, we will visit the source of Viline Vodice, which got its name from the legend that fairies dance around it. The hiking trail to the Stražilovo mountain lodge will also lead us through the pine forest, providing a wonderful contrast to the greenery of oaks, hornbeams, lindens, and beeches.

- Equipment for the Fruška Gora lavender fields tour: Hiking shoes or sports sneakers with a stronger sole, backpack, layered clothing, adapted to weather conditions, bring enough water and some food (snacks, sandwiches, fruit).
- Information about a hiking trail:
- Length: 12 km
- Total ascend/descend: around 400 m

- For the realization of the tour, a minimum of 18 registered passengers is required..
- Own transportation: in case you come with your own transport, the price of the Fruška gora lavender field tour is 2700 dinars.
- Accident insurance: in order for this type of insurance to be active, you need to send us your personal number (JMBG) when registering.
- In case of an insufficient number of registered passengers or unfavorable weather conditions, the deadline for notification of postponement or cancellation of the tour is 2 days before departure.

Trip cancellations by passengers:
- In case of cancellation of the trip by the passenger, 5 or more days before the tour date, the Agency retains the amount of 20% of the reservation costs.
- In case the traveler cancels the trip less than 5 days before the trip, the agency reserves the right to the entire amount. In case of replacement by another passenger who is found either by the passenger himself or by the Agency, 90% of the paid amount is returned to the passenger.
- In case of illness of the passenger and cancellation up to 3 days before the tour, the paid money can be returned or the amount can be transferred for another tour organized by the Agency, and the traveler is obliged to send medical documentation about the illness in writing. In case of illness of the traveler and cancellation less than 3 days before the tour, in addition to sending medical documentation about the illness, the traveler is obliged to compensate the Agency for the incurred costs (transportation and travel organization costs), and part of the money can be refunded.

Belgrade - Fruška Gora
- Departure from Belgrade at 7.30 am. The journey towards Fruška Gora.
- After an hour's drive, we arrive at the starting point at the village Bukovac, from where our hiking tour starts.
Lavender fields and a hiking tour on Fruška Gora
- Short preparation and departure for the hike around 9 am. In the initial part of the trail, we will go around lavender fields and take a photo break. From a hard-working local producer, we will hear the story of the production of these timeless flowers. You will have the possibility to buy lavender oil and some other beauty products.
- Continuation of the path to the source of Vilina Vodica, whose water is said to be healing and good for the eyes. There is also an old custom for people to come to the spring on the eve of St. George's Day, to welcome the first rays of the sun and wash themselves there.
- We continue our hike partly through the coniferous forest to the mountain lodge Stražilovo, where we will freshen up, then go to the Bike Park and finish in the center of Bukovac.
- The beauty of the trail is the view of Novi Sad, lavender fields, sunny Bukovac and its green grass, beech and conifer forest.
- The walking tour is easy, with a total duration of about 5 hours with breaks. It is 12 km long, with about 400 m of ascent.
- After the hike, a late afternoon lunch can be organized at a nearby restaurant on the Danube.
- Return to Belgrade where we arrive around 8 pm.
