Mount Olympus, a symbol of Greek mythology and the home of the 12 ancient gods with Zeus at the head is the highest mountain in Greece with Mytikas peak at 2918 m. With 52 different peaks, deep gorges, and a wealth of natural resources, it is also the most important national park, which covers an area of about 240 km². In 1981, UNESCO declared Olympus a "Biosphere Reserve".

Mountaineering on Olympusis a unique experience and a journey into the past. A special delight is provided by the stunning alpine terrain, the prominence of the mountains, and the magnificent scenery. In addition to Mikitas, the nearby Skolio peak (2,911 m), then the Stefani (2,909 m) and Skala (2,866 m) peaks stand out for their height.

On this challenging six-day trip, our starting point for Olympus will be Litochoro, a town with stone streets dominated by Macedonian architecture. On the hiking trail to Olympus, we will pass through the most beautiful part of the Enipeas Canyon. We will complement the hiking tours with tours, staying, and swimming in the Aegean Sea. We will visit the picturesque traditional village of Old Panteleimon.

Spending the night and waking up in mountain lodges at 2,100 m and 2,700 m on the Muses Plateau will bring us completely closer to this mythical mountain.
