Camping at Zlatar, combined with hiking and water activities will be an exciting summer weekend tour where we will fully indulge in the charms of nature in the Zlatar area.

Camping is a real experience of freedom and adventure, where you can escape the city's hustle and bustle and enjoy nature's silence.

Whether you are an experienced camper or just taking your first steps in this world, this tour is just for you! 

Mount Zlatar, located in southwestern Serbia, is a real pearl of nature that offers peace, quiet and unique landscapes. With its gentle slopes, beautiful pastures, and dense forests, Zlatar is an ideal destination for all nature and adventure lovers. With lakes that have an emerald green color of water, this destination is a true paradise for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. 

On this weekend tour, we will have the opportunity to camp on one of the most beautiful hills in Serbia - Filipov breg, to sleep at 1,150 meters above sea level and wake up with a magnificent view of Zlatar Lake, we will hike to the highest peak of Zlatar, try local gastronomic specialties, indulge in activities on the water and enjoy the beauty of nature. 

Additional notes:

• Equipment for the tour: Mountaineering shoes or sports sneakers with a stronger sole, and adequate clothing according to the weather conditions. A backpack with the necessary mountaineering equipment for a three-day trip, enough water (1.5-2 l per day), energy bars, fruit, spare shirts, shorts, swimming trunks, slippers, raincoat, headlamp, sunscreen, hat, or cap.
• You must also bring sleeping bag! Since the mountain is unpredictable, and the morning temperature can drop, we recommend that you bring a sleeping bag. Optionally and upon request, you can also bring bed linen (pillowcases and sheets).
• Although there are sockets in the camp itself, we recommend that you also bring an external battery to charge your phone devices, if you have one.
• If you have your own tent and equipment, please let us know when you register and the price will be reduced by 800 dinars.
• Within the camp, we have at our disposal a sanitary facility with WC, shower cabins, as well as an external faucet for washing dishes.
• Take the things you need for personal hygiene with you: towels, toothpaste, bath...
• There is electricity and drinking spring water in the camp.
• Information about the hiking trail:
  • Length: 10 km
  • The lowest point: 1440 m
  • The highest peak: 1625 m
  • Total ascend/descend: oko 400m
  • Track weight: easy
  • Duration: about 4 hours with breaks
• This tour is organized for a minimum of 18 registered passengers.

Reservations for a camping tour at Zlatar:

• Reservation: 40% of the total amount is paid at the time of registration, i.e. 4520 dinars, the rest by august 15, 2024 at the latest.
• Own transportation: it is possible to come to this tour with your transport. The price is 9040 RSD (with Explore Serbia membership cards) and 10040 RSD (for those who do not have a membership card). A small note: all transfers according to the program are carried out with your transport.
• Accident insurance for hiking: for this type of insurance to be active, you need to send us your number (JMBG) when registering.
• In case of unfavorable weather conditions or an insufficient number of registered passengers, the deadline for notification of postponement or cancellation of the tour is 2 days before departure.
• Food: Dinner for the first night (Friday) we suggest you take with you or buy when we take a break along the way. Breakfast can be served for both days upon arrival at the camp. Payment is made on the spot, and the price is 300 dinars (for a komplet lepinja/heljdopita/gibanica - depending on what is on offer) and sour milk is 100 dinars. We will organize lunch for both days (Saturday and Sunday), and it will be optional for those who want it. You can also take food with you.
• Accommodation: Filipov breg, accommodation is in tents. If you do not have your tent, the price includes the rental of camping equipment. We offer a tent for 2 and a tent for 4 persons (with french mattresses and inflatable pillows). Tents for 4 people are designed so that you have two separate "rooms".If you have your own tent and equipment, please let us know when you register and the price will be reduced by 800 dinars.

• Trip cancellations by passengers:
  If the Traveler cancels the trip in a timely manner (90 to 45 days), the Organizer has the right to compensation only for the incurred administrative costs.

  • 10% if the trip is cancelled 44 to 30 days before the start of the trip,
  • 20% if cancelled 29 to 20 days before the start of the trip,
  • 40% if cancelled 19 to 15 days before the start of the trip,
  • 80% if canceled 14 to 10 days before the start of the trip,
  • 90% if canceled 9 to 6 days before the start of the trip,
  • 100% if cancelled 5 to 0 days before the start of the trip or during the trip.

The organizer reserves the right to correct prices due to changes in the monetary market or changes in accommodation or transportation prices. The organizer reserves the right to change the travel program (the order of certain contents in the program due to objective circumstances).
