Ready for your first skiing experience? This year we offer two programs for skiing and both are suitable for both experienced skiers and beginners.
Aware of the fact that every beginning is difficult and that the first skiing experience can bring with it a lot of doubts, fear, but also excitement, we decided to make the process of preparing for your first skiing easier with this article.
Research shows that skiers' energy levels and feelings of happiness increase after they hit the slopes for the first time of the season. And that's exactly what it is! Any skier can confirm that.
Skiing is an activity that will initially require a lot of patience, persistence and will, and will give you an incredible adrenaline rush and a sense of freedom. So, are we ready for new adventures?

Skiing equipment
The most important item when it comes to skiing and snowboarding is equipment. Adequate equipment that protects you and makes you feel comfortable and warm.
Just imagine the situation in which you are on the slopes, learning to ski, and you are cold, your hands are frozen, and you can't feel your toes?! This is not good, because it spoils all the charms of enjoying the track.
That's why layering is key. Warm layers that are resistant to wind and water. Waterproof ski jacket and ski pants, as well as gloves that hold heat. All of these are essential elements for staying and enjoying the track. Under ski gear, we recommend fine and light options such as quick-drying synthetic materials, polyester or merino wool.
An indispensable part of the equipment is also ski helmet and ski goggles – wearing protective equipment, such as a helmet and goggles, further protects you from unforeseen situations. What are those situations? A helmet is there to protect your head when you fall, and ski goggles are there to protect you from snow, wind, and sun.
When asked if they sticks required for the first skiing experience?
Our answer is yes, as poles are there to help you maintain your balance as well as reduce the strain on your knees.
And of course, boots and skis. There's no fun without them. 😀
If they are too tight, you will feel pain and discomfort while driving.
The skis adjust to your height, weight and skiing level. When you're in a ski equipment store, whether you're buying or renting, there will be a member of staff there to help you get set up properly.
Our advice is to always carry a backpack with water, possibly a bar of chocolate or fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses...
If you are not sure about the selection or adjustment of equipment, our advice is to visit specialized stores or to consult with an experienced ski instructor and a skier you know.
Training and classes
You know what they say – every master was once a beginner and a student. Therefore, if you are going skiing for the first time, our advice is to take lessons from an experienced instructor who will help you master the basics of skiing. Learning proper techniques such as knee bends, speed control and steering is critical to your comfort and safety on the trail.
Another important tip – Choose your trails wisely!
Start with easier trails to gradually build confidence and build your skiing skills. The markings on the trail indicate the level of difficulty, so follow them carefully and consult with one of the instructors or guides.
Join us on one of the ski tours this season
